Originally from Valencia, Carlos has his “terreta” in his heart – if you think paella is “rice with things”, get ready.

Caxton College was his first learning destination. There, as well as developing as a bilingual, he discovered the true richness of living with a wide cultural diversity, which led him to his next destination: London.

After evaluating various university options, and thanks to his curiosity to understand how things work in different parts of the world, he decided to do a double degree in International Business. This allowed him to study the first two years at the Universitat de Valencia, and the last two at the University of Hertfordshire, London. The stage he was about to live was key both on a personal and professional level, as it allowed him to expand his horizons in a new country, as well as his knowledge in all areas of the business and marketing world.

While in London, he started his professional career at Tradedoubler London, where he enjoyed working in a totally diverse team with his first international clients such as Puma and Nike.

In 2021 he decided to join Esteve Durbá, a brand strategy and design consultancy in Valencia, as Brand Strategist. There he discovered his true passion: helping brands that in turn seek to help society, guiding them to find their purpose or “reason why” in this changing world.

After making an impact on the businesses of various brands, he decided to specialise by doing a Master in Strategic Marketing and Corporate Communication at IE Business School. This gave him the opportunity to learn from the best professionals, being recognised for his academic excellence throughout the year.

Joining the Picnic family is a big step towards giving authentic meaning to his personal goal: to bring value to people’s lives through brand purpose.

In addition, Carlos has 2 fundamental pillars in his life: football and music. He has been a professional football player for 6 years, and is currently a DJ in his spare time… the complete combination.
